Our story

From Stockholm to 21 countries.

We started Pingwire because the tools compliance teams were handed couldn't keep up with the people they were trying to stop. Five years in, we're still building toward the same simple idea: catch what matters, in real time, with as little friction as possible.

    Founded in Stockholm
    A team of data scientists, engineers, and former compliance leads sets out to rebuild AML from the ground up.
  2. 2022
    First production deployment
    Sub-100ms monitoring goes live with a Nordic challenger bank. The thesis holds.
  3. 2023
    Expanding across Europe
    Pingwire scales together with its clients to 21 countries across the Nordics and EU.
  4. 2024
    First machine learning models deployed
    Proprietary ML models for anomaly detection go live, marking the shift from rules to intelligence.
  5. 2025
    ISO 27001 certified
    Independent certification of our information security management system.
  6. 2026
    AI agents go live
    Autonomous agents that can handle cases, risk analysis, and workflows, making every compliance team faster without adding headcount.
